Summer Actvities
Summer in the French Alps is a beautiful time of year with a variety of activities available.
Enjoy the lovely mountain scenery whilst walking, road cycling, mountain biking, paragliding, horse riding or fishing.
Relax on the banks of the local lakes, or by the Olympic size swimming pool in Morzine.
There are lots of tennis courts, a skate park, the luge d'ete (toboggan run), golf courses, 3 adventure parks (rope climbing & flying foxes through the tree tops), 2 quad bike circuits, and for the daring, bungy jumping from the Nyon cable car and flying the unique 'Fantasticable'.
For climbers there are 2 local Via Ferrata courses, one in Avoriaz and the other on the "Elephant's Head" rock in St Jean D'Aulps.
On the river Dranse there is white water rafting, canoeing, and other methods of running the rapids.
This summer we are again taking part in the Multipass scheme as it has been so popular from it's first year. It allows entry to tennis courts, swimming pools, chair lifts (for walkers only), cultural sites, ice rinks and buses for just €1 per day, per person. Discounts are also available on other activities including paragliding, canyoning and quad biking.
And new for 2010 - mountain bikers will also receive a free Multipass when a mountain bike pass is purchased through us, for the length of your stay.
We can custom build small group holidays for painting groups, photographic groups, walkers, golfers and road cyclists, using our minibus to reach the best locations.
Autumn is also a lovely time of year in the mountains so why not combine the wine and autumn fair in St Jean D'Aulps with seeing the spectacular autumn colours?
